The first Dell low-cost notebook is called the Inspiron Mini 9 and this small laptop looks to compete against the likes of the HP Mini-Note, the Lenovo IdeaPad S10 and the Asus Eee PC. In addition, Dell is selling the Inspiron Mini 9 notebook on its own, but the PC vendor is also teaming with wireless carrier Vodafone to sell broadband technology with the Inspiron Mini 9 laptop in Europe.
